Q: How do I get on the smitten blog design waiting list?
A: Just email us at email@example.com and we’ll let you know the start date for your design. You must reply within 48 hours if you’d like us to hold the spot for you.
Q: Is the wait time the same for a Facebook cover, business card or logo as it is for a full custom blog?
A: No. We can get smaller projects done more quickly and will fit you in between full custom work we are doing, usually within 1 week.
Q: How long is it from start to finish to get a custom blog design?
A: From the day we begin work on your blog to complete installation varies from client to client and depends a lot on you. Most of the time we get it done within 10-15 business days. NOTE: we have a “slow-poke fee” of $35 per business week that will be added to your design package if your design process lasts longer than the usual 10-15 business days due to slow response time/indecision on the client’s part.
Q: Will I be involved in the design process?
A: Yes. We work very closely with all our clients, sending them samples along the way. We correspond by EMAIL ONLY and love feedback and input so that we can get you a design you’ll adore. We will revise your custom design up to 3 times before charging an extra fee for more major changes.
Q: Your packages include up to 3 major revisions on my design mock-ups. What if I want more than that?
A: We will let you know when you reach your 3 revisions. After that, you may have additional revisions with a surcharge.
Q: Your packages also include a stock image. Can I choose a specific stock image I like?
A: You can choose an image you like. We allow up to 15 credit images before a surcharge is applied to cover the cost of more expensive images. Or, you can trust your designer to come up with something perfect for you, based on the questionnaire you’ve filled out!
Q: What are your other terms of service?

-We require that you try to reply to our emails in a timely manner so we don’t get behind schedule.
-We will put a small link in your blog footer to our site to let people know where your design came from–we require you do not remove this link.
-When we add you to our design schedule you will be expected to pay a non-refundable deposit fee of $150 for a Blogger design and $250 for a WordPress design. This fee will go towards the overall price of your design.
-After final design approval you will allow Smitten Blog Designs to enter your blog site to install your blog. You may temporarily change your password to give to us if you prefer.
-If you want to keep your old template, you are responsible for saving that yourself.
-After final installation you will not be able to request that we add to or revise your blog without paying an extra surcharge for the additional changes.
-We are not responsible for adding content to your site. We will set up pages and connect links, but you are responsible for writing posts and text for your blog.
-Smitten Blog Designs retains ownership of layered files. Client can purchase layered files upon completion of their design for an added fee.
-Customized responsive designs are not included in our packages but can be requested for an additional fee.
-You are also consenting to allow Smitten Blog Designs to add a screen shot of the final design in our portfolio.
-Smitten Blog Designs, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any client that does not meet our values and standards or does not comply with our terms of service. We will not design pornography sites or work with offensive, vulgar or nude images and we also reserve the right to determine what is and is not pornographic, offensive, or vulgar. Thank you!
